About Fiona
Hi, my name is Fiona. I’m passionate about languages and cultural exchange. I often help my younger cousin, who is Australian-born, practice speaking Chinese and Cantonese, which has made me very comfortable communicating across English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where we both grow through communication and understanding. My goal is to help you speak confidently and enjoy learning about Chinese culture in a relaxed and friendly way.

I teach Chinese through conversation, storytelling, and daily life examples. I can teach through themed topics such as food, travel, study, and culture, helping students express themselves naturally in different situations. I’ve also studied Korean at university, so I know the challenges and process of learning a new language. Classes are relaxed but structured, combining pronunciation practice, dialogue, and vocabulary in context. I will adjust my lessons to your goals and pace, ensuring each class feels personal, practical, and enjoyable.
