About Oscar
I have studied Mandarin Chinese language for over 16 years having lived in Asia for a long time. I have had experiencing teaching the language up to IGCSE level and have ran support clinics for students who find the language challenging. Under my guidance, students results have improved by two.grades. At present, I am an undergraduate student at The University of Manchester reading East Asian Studies and look to impart my knowledge and passion about the language and culture to my students.

-Tutor people from 12 to 18 years old
-I will conduct a diagnostic assessment to guage language proficiency
-I use a range of teaching techniques such as interactive games such as quizlet to reenforce key vocabulary and senntece structures learnt.
-I also use past papers as a way for both the student and myself to identify strengths and weaknesses.
-I will provide homework at the end of each lesson to reenforce all topics covered in the session
-I actively encourage students to communicate with me using Mandarin Chinese to improve confidence and proficiency.
