About Rachel
I have always been passionate about teaching, as well as my subjects. When I was younger, I had a tutor for English who completely changed my grade as well as my attitude towards the subject. Since then, I have wanted to inspire students the same way she inspired me, as well as improving their grades.
I am happy and upbeat, while being professional and able to communicate points. I am patient and more than happy to go over a topic until it is fully understood and I encourage honesty and openness - the last thing I'd want is a student leaving a session feeling like they still don't understand.

My lessons (1-2 hours) are adapted to each student to ensure the best results for each individuals. After an introductory lesson getting to know each other, establishing objectives and covering basics, I will create weekly plans for the student to optimise the learning and have weekly check-ins at the end of the session to see what was helpful and what they would like to cover in the next session.
I have just completed my A Levels in computer science, maths, psychology and physics (predicted A*, A*, A*, A) and have 9's in Maths and Computer Science GCSE. I am aiming to attend university in September to study computer science. My lessons are aimed at students from KS3 to GCSE.
