About Alondra
As an individual tutor who struggled a lot at the beginning of college, I aim to make each session unique to the student’s needs and learning style. I have had positive feedback from all the students I have tutored and they all come from different backgrounds and levels of understanding. I love tutoring because it is engaging and fulfilling to help make knowledge accessible to all. As I aim to be a professor eventually, tutoring is an employment opportunity I have always taken seriously and been passionate about.

I have experience with peer tutoring, high school and elementary tutoring. There is no such thing as giving up on a student, it is about finding the best way for a student to form connections to the material and retain it. I do not hesitate to break it down as much as needed. As I love the sciences and mathematics, it is something I enjoy doing and have now done for four years at the college level. I range from general biology and chemistry to organic chemistry, genetics, physical chemistry and biochemistry. For mathematics, I range from Geometry, Calculus I & II tutoring to Discrete Mathematics, Algebra I & II, Abstract Algebra, Real and Numerical Analysis, Topology, and Differential Equations.
