About Hunter
After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Clemson University, I worked in a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory for a pharmaceutical company for 3 years. In that time, my job required a major attention to detail to ensure the product's safety for the patient. I decided to take my love for STEM and share it with students to inspire the next generation to go above and beyond in their lives. I began teaching during the pandemic and have loved it ever since!

As a middle school teacher, I am absolutely comfortable aiming my lessons toward a younger audience; however, I enjoy diving in deep into the concepts that high school students of all ages work with in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Environmental Science, and Biology at all levels. In all disciplines, I am most focused on teaching the concepts and processes that drive the particular topic over a "drill and kill" method. I want my students to understand the "why" behind the subject to better prepare them for their future studies.
