About Rosie
I am a hardworking and dedicated individual. I understand that it is impossible to understand everything all the time and certain subjects and skills require more effort! I am therefore eager to assist in developing these skills and boosting confidence. I am professional, disciplined and always on time. I believe in a personalised and adaptable approach to tutoring. Every child is different and therefore requires different methods to assist their learning. Appropriate styles and methods can be discussed in the first session and adapted throughout the duration of our learning together. I am also a strong believer in a visual approach, making sure that the student is engaged. I want to make sure my students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as it is the only way to get better! I have worked with children for approximately 5 years, starting as a sports coach and later becoming an academic tutor. I have previously been a tutor at MyTutor (interview selection). A typical lesson length is 50 minutes to 1 hour and lessons are aimed for students from Year 5 - GCSE level.
