About Mattias
I am confident that my students will have a much stronger foundation in core concepts after some lessons. As someone who succeeded through high school, the college application process, and college, I've developed skills that have been effective in my own learning which I believe can be applied to my student as well. The biggest short coming I've found from my professors has been a lack of attentiveness to a students level of understanding and needs. Throughout my time tutoring, I've learned how to pay attention to student's needs and ensure that their goals are heard.

My goal is to have students conceptualize content rather than memorize. In class, we will make sure that we have strong fundamentals before moving on to ensure that future concepts will be fully understood. We will also go over plenty of personally curated practice problems in order to assess and develop our understanding of the material. These lessons are for any ages and will take place over zoom for the preferred amount of time. Math topics that can be covered will be any combination of Elementary Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, or Linear Algebra.
