About Avik
I am a passionate 1st year Maths student at Imperial College London, having completed my secondary school education at Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet where I got ten 9's at GCSE and all A*'s at A Level in Maths, Further Maths and Physics (getting above 95% in all my Maths and Further Maths exams at A Level).
I will teach you all the revision techniques and give you access to all the practice questions that were able to help me perform well in my exams.
My goal is to not only get you the grades you want, but to also realise that once you develop your understanding of basic concepts and hone in on your problem solving skills, maths won't be as difficult for you anymore.

Maths is a subject that many students struggle with or are afraid of. Trust me, it used to be the same for me. The reason being that most are taught to memorise and not to understand.
Each individual is different and so lessons will be tailored to each tutee to help them progress further. I believe that with patience and by allowing enough time to develop a student's reasoning skills, maths will be a subject that tutees will look forward to and as a result, good grades will come.
