Jillian tutored me this past school year in algebra. I had known her for a few years by that point, but I am very grateful for our tutoring sessions, not only for her help in algebra but also for growing our friendship. She is incredibly patient, caring, kind, and encouraging. When I would struggle with a concept, she’d take me step by step through each process until I understood it. I left every session feeling confident and comfortable with my abilities. Without Jillian, I very well would have failed my final exam, but she was there for me, and I felt more confident on the final than ever before. I’ve known Jillian for a couple of years, and she has always been someone I’ve looked up to. She has been great at helping me in math when I've struggled. What I love most about how she tutors is that if I don’t understand something, she will re-explain it in a different way that might make more sense. She is also extremely patient, and I could always feel comfortable making mistakes with her.
