About Sagana
I'm a first-year Financial Mathematics student at the University of Surrey with a lifelong passion for maths. I’ve enjoyed it from a young age, especially 11+ topics, finding excitement in learning new concepts. I want to tutor because I believe maths can be easy to understand if taught in a clear, comfortable way. Many students struggle simply due to the teaching approach, and I aim to change that by making maths engaging and accessible—helping students enjoy it as much as I do!

I believe that maths should be taught in an engaging and clear way to each student's learning style; which focuses on breaking down complex concepts and independent problem-solving aligned professional support. Each lesson would ideally last one hour, providing enough time to cover topics while keeping students engaged and focused. I have experienced tutoring my friends during GCSEs and A-levels and they found my explanations very helpful in improving their understanding and confidence. My friend managed to improve by 2 grades during her GCSEs. I offer tutoring for students from 11+ exams up to GCSE level.
