About James
I’m a passionate undergraduate Engineering student with prior experience teaching English, Math, and Chinese through a rural education initiative in Cambodia. As part of a volunteer-run school, I taught children who were unable to attend formal education due to financial barriers, helping to make learning accessible and engaging. In addition to teaching, I’m an enthusiastic debater and an active member of Trinity College Dublin’s Philosophical Society, regularly participating in international debating events.

I have previous experience teaching students aged 5 to 18 and am available to tutor Maths at all levels up to and including Leaving Certificate. Lessons typically run for one to two hours, though I’m happy to offer flexibility in lesson length based on the student’s needs and schedule. I use a wide range of teaching techniques and adapt my approach to suit each student’s individual learning style, ensuring they receive the support and guidance best suited to their goals.
