About Zakee
I'm an economics undergraduate in my final year, with nearly two years of tutoring experience under my belt and a passion for making you better at Mathematics. I'm sure you've thought of giving up on this subject at least once or twice (I did when I was in school). You might've even thought that some people are just 'maths people' and you're not. All nonsense. Anything that you work on for a long enough time period and with enough grit, you'll get good at. I'm 20 years old, and this mantra has had a good track record of being right throughout my life. I got better at Maths purely through more visual explanations from a tutor and YouTube videos that went through concepts step-by-step, and that's the kind of Maths tutor you need.

I teach visually generally speaking, writing out methods step-by-step and covering multiple examples from past papers. I also understand the importance of adapting this style to different students and changing pace where necessary. I achieved an A (Grade 7) in GCSE Mathematics, but fun fact, it used to be my most difficult subject just a year before! I was fortunate enough, through tutoring and the visual approach to massively improve my competence in Maths and turn it into my most enjoyable subject within a few short months, being able to study it A-level and now using those concepts in my degree. My lessons are for all high school students as I believe a great foundation can be set at this early level, and lead to meaningful changes in numerical fluency.
