About Millie
I am a patient, professional, and dedicated English tutor who is committed to helping students build confidence and achieve real progress. I understand that every learner is different, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual goals, learning styles, and ability levels. Whether a student needs support with grammar, speaking, writing, exam preparation, or overall fluency, I provide structured guidance in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My teaching approach focuses on clear communication, consistency, and practical learning. I aim to make lessons engaging and approachable while maintaining high academic standards. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practise actively, and develop confidence in using English both inside and outside the classroom.

My goal is not only to help students improve their English skills, but also to help them become more confident, independent learners over time.

My approach to tutoring English is student-focused, supportive, and practical. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their skills at their own pace. I tailor every lesson to the student’s goals, whether they need help with speaking, writing, grammar, exam preparation, or overall fluency.
I use a communicative and interactive teaching style that encourages active participation rather than passive learning.
Lessons often include:
Clear explanations of grammar and vocabulary
Speaking practice and conversation exercises
Reading and listening activities
Writing support with detailed feedback
Real-life examples and practical language use
Personalised exercises based on the student’s strengths and areas for improvement

Lessons are usually sixty minutes long, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs and schedule. Each lesson is structured but flexible, allowing time for explanation, practice, and questions.
