About Alexa
Hello! My name is Alexa and I am currently in my first year of my Biology degree at Durham University. I found my love for science especially Biology during my GCSEs and it has only grown ever since. I am eager to share my acquired knowledge and appreciation for these subjects through helping younger students. GCSE and A Level exam preparation can be quite daunting so I would love to be able to aid students with any topics they find difficult especially in these stressful times. After helping my two younger sisters through their GCSEs, I have learned how to efficiently communicate with younger teenagers and help them work through their ideas themselves building vital problem-solving skills essential for GCSE and A Level AO3 questions.

I have lots of experience tutoring my younger sisters and some family friends. Because of this experience I have learned how to tailor my teaching styles to the needs of different learners. Lessons are an hour long and I did Maths, Biology and French at A Level.
