I'm an undergraduate Theology and Religious Studies student, studying at the University of Leeds. I studied Religious Studies, Psychology, and Biology at College, and have some experience teaching in the UK and abroad, with a range of different teaching materials available, particularly for GCSE and A level religious studies

A Proponent of discussion based learning, and advocate ti a practical and hands on approach to learning, I strive to provide a skill based approach to learning. With the area of Philosphy, Theology, and Religious Studies, discussing ideas, particularly with critical analysis, is key to academic success, especially with regards to essay writing; the main form of assessment in these areas. As such, teaching will be focused on essay questions, to prepare for exams.
These questions will be ones likely to come up in an exam, and which explore aspects of the curriculum. Discussing the key elements, we will learn the background information required, and contemplate and analyse ideas about how to answer the question. Subsequently, we will answer the questions together, using a scaffolding approach to your learning, providing a nourishing and supportive learning environment.
