About Jenny
I am currently an undergraduate junior at UC Berkeley studying data science with 4+ years of tutoring experience. I am proficient in mathematics and high school science subjects. I am bilingual in Mandarin and English, also learning other languages. I am serving as a Computer Science Mentor in UC Berkeley teaching python, holding weekly mentor sections, delivering mini-lecture, and creating practice content. I am also Vice President of Professional Development in Tech Club Open Project, teaching members website development, JavaScript, and data science. I am very patient, organized, and passionate about teaching. I enjoy the moments of exchanging opinions with my students and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for my students.

I create a detailed study plan based on the number of sessions, materials needed to be learned, and the strengths and weaknesses of the students. A typical lesson plan during the school season would be assistance with homework and review. A lesson during vacation would be based on the course the student wants to learn or review and incorporate with concept and definition learning + practice problems of newly learned knowledge. The lessons are mainly for junior high to college students and are focused on STEM subjects.
