About Luca
Hi, I'm Luca,
A sporting maniac who is seriously passionate about maths and physics.
When people discuss what inspires them to do something like engineering, I have to say: "to make things better". I do believe that everything I do has the purpose of making things better. Which first comes with understanding.
Understanding how things behaved and worked brought around a satisfaction with myself as I was left with many unanswered question during my time at secondary school.
It's also my understanding that many other students were exactly like me. Much of what we learnt never gave an answer to the question: "Why?"
I've managed to answer this question during my time at university, and possessing this knowledge could be unbelievably helpful for GCSE and A-level students aspiring to be engineers

My tutoring sessions are performed in an open, easy environment. I encourage all my students to discuss with each other as well as myself so that no one feels bad for not understanding a concept. Often times giving study tips and techniques that have previously worked with myself during my time to achieve an A at A-level, and an A at GCSE.
I've been a tutor for just under a year, where I've worked weekly with two GCSE students both aiming for 5s at GCSE. After tutoring, we achieved 7s which is considered As in new scales.
I try and aim for my lessons to be around an hour long, allowing appropriate time for learning, as well as opportunities for students to come forward with questions they may have from class or personal work. This seems to be the most appropriate technique to ensure all grey areas are covered for topics.
