My name is Cristian, and I am an 18-year-old Romanian undergraduate studying Chemical Engineering at University College London (UCL). I am a patient, reliable, and motivated tutor with a strong academic background and a clear, structured approach to learning. My studies have strengthened my problem-solving skills and my ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is accessible and engaging. I have 2 years' experience tutoring maths in a tuition centre and a year of experience private tutoring online. Typical length of a lesson is 1-2 hours. The lessons are for A-level maths students and year 10-11 GCSE maths and further maths students.
My approach is to explain the mathematical reasoning and concept so that the student must first understand why it works rather than memorising methods, allowing for a more intuitive and understandable approach to the lesson.
First is explanation, followed by demonstration and then guided practice, going through everything the student may need for their future exams.
The lessons will happen online, usually through Microsoft Teams or any other meeting software you may desire.
