About Yashna
I am a first year BSc Economics & Management student at King's College London. I can speak English and Hindi fluently.
I come from an underprivileged background and I attended a state school. I pushed myself academically and tried different learning techniques. I worked with a wide range of online resources to achieve the grades I had aimed for. Being in a similar position to students a short while ago, I am aware of the types of extended support that may be beneficial for students beyond their learning at school. I am motivated to give students the extent to the help they require and empower them to reach their full potential. I will use more interactive ways to explain concepts, whilst sharing some tips and tricks I picked up when studying.

I have 1 year experience in tutoring GCSE and A level Maths, Economics and Physics and GCSE Biology and Chemistry. Therefore, I am well-equipped and trained to teach students at these levels.
I have achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For A levels, I achieved an A*A*A in Maths, Economics and Physics respectively.
My lessons are always tailored directly to student's needs and work on teaching styles that work effectively for each student. I have a huge focus on consolidating theory with practise exam-style questions. I create a supportive and safe learning environment with my students where they can approach me with any questions they may have!
