About Takunda

My name is Takunda, and I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence and ability through English. I believe language is more than just grammar rules, it is a tool for expression, opportunity, and personal development.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I understand that every learner is different, so I take time to understand each student’s goals and challenges before tailoring lessons to suit their needs.

I take pride in being reliable, well-prepared, and supportive. My goal is not only to improve grades or language ability but also to build long-term confidence in communication skills.

English Tutoring with Takunda

Hi, I’m Takunda, an English tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence, clarity, and strong communication skills. My approach to teaching is student-centered, supportive, and results-focused. I believe every learner has potential — sometimes they just need the right guidance and structure to unlock it.

Teaching Methodology

My lessons focus on:
• Clear explanations of grammar and language structure
• Practical exercises to improve speaking, writing, and comprehension
• Vocabulary development through real-life examples
• Exam preparation strategies where needed
• Encouraging critical thinking and independent learning

I adapt each lesson to suit the student’s goals and learning style. Whether a student needs help improving conversation skills, preparing for exams, or strengthening academic writing, I create structured lessons that are engaging and easy to follow.

Lesson Length

Typical lessons are 60 minutes.
Longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student’s needs, especially for exam preparation or intensive support.

I have experience supporting students at different levels, helping them improve their confidence and academic performance. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes as part of the learning process.
