About Leo
I'm a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, majoring in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences with a Physics emphasis and pursuing a minor in Math. I have almost a year of experience in professional tutoring. I enjoy teaching people and nurturing people's curiosity and enthusiasm for knowledge. I love learning, math and the natural sciences; they allow us to understand our world and the unknown, which I find fascinating and beautiful.

I like to get to know my students and their needs. I take a flexible approach to teaching. In the first lesson, we will introduce ourselves, I will ask about any particular topics the student has trouble with or would like to improve in, then we may work on a few problems or some homework. The next lessons will consist of either homework help or extra exercises and lessons that I will have prepared in advance for the student. At the start of each session, I'll ask which topic they would like to work on and what they would like to improve on. Throughout the session, I'll ask them questions to check on their understanding and interest in the topic. I like to encourage my students to be enthusiastic and curious.
