About Hussam
I am Hussam, a first-year student studying Accounting and Finance at University of Manchester, who transferred from UBC. I am from Dubai and Pakistan, and currently live in Manchester, where I am loving it! I am 22 years old, and have been tutoring high-school and lower for the past few years, in all kinds of subjects from SAT Prep to Chemistry. In my freetime, I like to watch sports, especially football and UFC, go to the gym and explore the nightlife around.

I am quite flexible, I like to have longer-term lessons so I can understand your concerns and address them, and it also allows me to brush up and explain things as clearly as possible. I believe that the student runs the class, and I am there to offer support with exams, homework and any doubts that may occur. I have tutored previously on Varsity Tutors and Lanterna, and have over 2-3 years' experience tutoring all ages, from primary to sixth form. Usually, my lessons are 1 hour long and can be multiple or once a week. My methodology aligns with making you feel comfortable and attempting lots of practice questions, to understand how to do well in exams and other-time pressure situations.
