About Alfie
I am 20 years old, physics undergrad studying at the University of Sussex. I am confident and calm in my teaching, focusing on making the lessons stress-free and to avoid the student getting overwhelmed. When teaching in classrooms as an assistant teacher, I have often tried to establish a comfortable environment where the stress of trying to comprehend a difficult subject can be expressed, and worked through. I think learning is one of the most important facets of life, but establishing a healthy relationship with learning is, arguably, even more so.

I focus on making the lessons memorable through understanding of the mechanics of the subject, rather than training the ability to memorise. Obtaining a deep understanding of a topic or course is the most important part, and through a personable and friendly method. A lesson would be between 1 hour to 2 hours. I have taught secondary school students in classrooms as well as one-to-one. My lessons would be for secondary school students or KS2 primary school students. Whether it is preparing for an exam or just understanding a topic as you learn it my lessons will help you find your footing, even in the most foreign aspects of a course.
