About Ruby
I am in my third year at Lewis & Clark College, pursuing my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology, while minoring in Health Studies. With this degree I hope to enter an accelerated nursing program to become a nurse in the Emergency Room, helping patients of all ages and backgrounds in whatever way I can. At Lewis & Clark I am on the Women's Volleyball team, and compete at this level collegiately, as I have been playing volleyball for almost 8 years! Outside of school, I coach volleyball, play the piano, craft in any way I can, and love to bake sweets and goods for my family and friends. I found myself in Portland for college, but am originally from San Francisco, California!

I hope to get kids to understand and develop their reading and writing, math, and other essential skills in a fun and interactive way. I like to look at assignments from my student's school as well as provide my own activities that can be engaging and make learning something my students look forward to. I can't wait to help students feel confident in their learning and connect with them as the amazing students they are!
