I tutored on the side while attending UNCW, so I developed a good understanding of different students' life experiences. Working with so many students of diverse backgrounds has made me better able to provide quality tutoring because I am confident I can meet you where you are in learning.

I am a passionate and personable teacher that is outcome-oriented. I am good at recognizing where knowledge gaps are and building off bite-sized bits to a full and well-rounded understanding of the problem building to the subject overall. I've taken most math courses at UNCW and several computer science courses, so I am fairly familiar with their curriculums. I am also friends with several faculty there, and can easily communicate with the professors on courses with your permission if you are a student there.
