About SHIVAM

I'm Dr. Shivam, an MBBS and MD, and I'm incredibly passionate about making Science and Math truly understandable for my students. My journey through medicine has given me a unique perspective on how these subjects aren't just abstract theories, but vital tools we use every day. My motivation to teach stems from a deep belief that when you understand why something works and how it applies in the real world, learning becomes far more engaging and effective. In my classes, we won't just memorize facts; we'll explore concepts through real-world medical examples and practical applications, building your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I'm committed to creating a learning environment where your curiosity is celebrated, and every question is an opportunity for deeper insight. My goal is to empower you not just with knowledge, but with the confidence to tackle any challenge, whether in academics or life.

About the lesson

As a Doctor, my approach to teaching Science and Maths is rooted in making complex concepts relatable and practical. Here's how I'll do it:
For Science:
* Real-World Case Studies: We'll use medical and everyday examples to illustrate scientific principles. For instance, explaining chemical reactions through drug interactions or biological processes via human body systems.
* Conceptual Understanding First: My focus will be on ensuring you grasp the "why" behind scientific phenomena, not just memorizing facts. We'll break down theories into understandable components.
* Practical Application: I'll highlight how scientific knowledge is applied in various fields, from medicine to engineering, making the subject tangible and relevant.
* Interactive Discussions: Expect an engaging environment where questions are encouraged, and we collectively explore the fascinating world of science.
For Maths:
* Problem-Solving Focus: We'll tackle problems by dissecting them, much like diagnosing a patient, to build strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
* Analogy-Based Learning: I'll use familiar scenarios, sometimes even medical ones, to simplify abstract mathematical concepts and operations.
* Step-by-Step Mastery: We'll build from foundational principles upwards, ensuring each step is understood before moving to more advanced topics.
* Critical Thinking Emphasis: My goal is to teach you how to think mathematically, empowering you to solve diverse problems, not just rote memorization of formulas.
In both subjects, my aim is to foster curiosity and a deeper appreciation for how these disciplines shape our world and provide essential tools for life.
