About Yolisa
I study (and tutor) mathematics at the University of Cape (UCT). I've been tutoring classes of approximately 15-25 students (but have private one-on-one sessions too) for two years for the Department of Mathematics, and my students attain an average of 60-70%

I have experience tutoring high school and university students. I assess their level of understanding so I can see where their gaps in the subject are. I ensure students feel comfortable to freely express their frustrations in mathematics and work to build their confidence - as I believe most people don't hate the subject, but rather hate how not understanding makes them feel.
