About Bright
"From-a-D-to-an-A student" is how my high school teachers described me. Math and Science may not easy, yet we apply them in our daily lives, very well for that matter. Academically, I can help you do the same.
After learning how to use ideas as tools, I began to appreciate the art of solving problems. My term average in Grade 12 would be +90%. I also achieved top position for Physical Sciences in Grade 11 and 12, and was awarded certificate for academic excellence at Star Schools.
Upon matriculation, I achieved 80% for Math and 83% for Physical Sciences.
I started tutoring Grade 8 -10 Math since Grade 11. In Grade 12, I began tutoring Grade 11 and 12. When I got admitted to the University of Cape Town, my passion for tutoring lead me to joining SHAWCO Education (a UCT NPO) as a Math tutor and Curriculum Coordinator.

I help students unleash their academic potential by showing them what 'tools' to use, when and how to use them. I believe that teaching ideas is key to solving math and science problems.
The language of instruction that I use is English.
A typical lesson would include going over a topic or question that that you have identified as too challenging for you. We would recap what you know about the topic. I would then show you how to analyse the problem, guide you in solving it, and teach you how to solve related problems.
