About Beril

Hi, I’m Beril, a current UCLA Business Economics major with a strong background in both academics and professional experience. Alongside my studies, I’ve gained valuable corporate internship experience that taught me how to stay organized, disciplined, and results-oriented—qualities I bring into my tutoring. I used to be an incredible test taker myself, scoring a full score on SAT Math and earning 5s on both AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Because I’ve been through the exact same challenges, I know the tactics, shortcuts, and key material that matter most for achieving top results. Since I’m not too far removed from the high school and test prep experience, I’m easy to reach, approachable, and relatable for students. My goal is to not only explain concepts clearly but also to motivate and guide you toward your own success. I truly believe that with the right strategies, every student can perform at their best, and I will do everything I can to help you get there.

About the lesson

As a UCLA Business Economics student, I understand the challenges students face when preparing for standardized tests and advanced courses. My approach is to simplify complex concepts into clear, practical steps and highlight only what truly matters for test success. For SAT Math, I provide students with proven tactics, shortcuts, and strategies to approach problems quickly and accurately, helping them maximize their time and score. For AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, I focus on breaking down economic theories into real-world applications, while teaching how to spot patterns and highlight the key material that consistently shows up on exams.

Perfect! Beril has been outstanding in helping Rizan with AP Macroeconomics. She took initiative even before the first session by assigning material for him to review and then created a personalized lesson plan tailored to his needs. Her explanations were clear and efficient, helping him understand challenging concepts with ease.
