About Atharva
I am a graduate student at UCLA, working in the accelerator physics department with a strong array of experience in all areas of physics.
This lends me credence in most physics and math subjects for high school and even most college-level courses.
Furthermore, I have been tutoring/teaching classes for the last 6 years in everything from public speaking, physics, and even computer programming. Over those years, I have learned how to engage students where they are and work with them to build a learning plan for their success.

I've been tutoring for the last 6 years in a variety of subjects and grade levels. This has allowed me to hone my teaching and explaining skills to ensure that they are adaptable to the student.
Each student is different and I try to personalize each of my sessions to ensure that each student gets my attention in a way that is valuable to them. In this vein, I am a big proponent of constant feedback to make sure that I am being as helpful as possible.
I usually recommend a minimum of 4 sessions to seek marked improvement in core skills.
I use the first session to get a good idea of what the student understands, seeking to build on their existing foundation.
I generally work with the student to determine what kind of plan works best for them so that they can succeed. If they are simply looking to improve, then I am happy to put together a learning plan.
