About Alexander
Hello! I'm Alex Yule and I am a first-year at University College London reading pure maths. I'm from the Bay Area in California, US, although I did live in Britain when I was younger. As someone who sincerely loves math, physics, and helping out others, tutoring seems like the perfect place to share my experience. Some things I enjoy doing in my spare time are fencing, computer games, playing the keyboard, and playing chess.

I feel like a lot of the time people who struggle with science or maths are just being presented the material and not being actually taught why or how such concepts work. When I'm helping out my peers or tutoring I make sure to link everything back to the fundamentals to make sure they truly get a deeper and yet simpler understanding of the concept at hand. I have over 80 hours of formal tutoring experience in the highest level of maths in the US and many more hours of informal helping classmates. my classes normally last around an hour, but longer or shorter sessions can be arranged. anyone who needs assistance with GCSE or A-level Mathematics or any lower level of maths is definitely within the range of my ability and I would love to be able to help!
