About Leyla
I’m a friendly, approachable and hardworking person with a genuine passion for science and learning. I enjoy helping others understand things that initially seem difficult and seeing their confidence grow as they make progress. I’m patient, organised and easy to talk to, and I always try to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I have a strong interest in science, academia and design, and I love taking on creative projects and learning new things. I’d love to help students not only improve their grades, but also feel more confident and positive about science.

My focus in tutoring is tackling exam technique and revision methods that aren’t always covered in class. I hold GCSEs and A-Levels in Maths, Sciences and Ancient History, and am currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology at UCL.
Online lessons will be one hour, with a deep focus on practice questions, understanding mark schemes and how to revise effectively.
