About Toby
Having just finished my A level exams and achieved an A grade in both Biology and Chemistry, I believe I am better equipped than most to help guide students through what will likely be by far the most stressful time in their lives to date. After seeing many students in schools struggle due to lack of support from overworked teachers, I believe that providing 1 on 1 support as a tutor is not only incredibly valuable for students but also the perfect way to give back after years of experiencing great tutoring myself!

My lessons will ensure the student is able to clearly understand the content they are taught rather than pure repetition and guiding my student through lots of past paper questions whilst stressing the importance of exam technique. My typical length of a lesson will be 2 hours as I believe that provides enough time to go over what was covered last lesson as well as time for exam practice at the end. My lessons are aimed at GCSE students either in Year 10 or Year 11 who need extra help to achieve the highest grades possible.
