About Skylar
Hello!
I have finished my Bachelor Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam and will be starting the MSc Drug Discovery & Development programme at UCL this year.
Rather than simply memorising content, I believe it is important for students to develop a solid understanding of the underlying concepts and the ability to apply what they have learnt independently to exam-style questions and problems.

Before starting lessons, I will first discuss the student's exam board, HL/SL level, current academic level, target grades, and exam schedule, and then create a personalised study plan.
If the student already has textbooks or other materials provided by their school, I will prioritise using these resources during lessons.
Students are also very welcome to message me with questions outside of lesson hours, especially during exam periods.
I prefer to offer 1:1 lessons online, but in-person 1:1 lessons are also available for students located near UCL.
My rate is £30 per hour, and I generally recommend two lessons per week, although this can be adjusted depending on the student's needs and schedule.
