About Jessica

Hello there! My name is Jess and I am a recent graduate from UCL. I studied History, graduating last year with a First Class and included on the UCL Dean's List (a commendation for outstanding academic achievement). I strive for academic excellence and am determined to share my experience and knowledge with other students, both at school and at university. I have tutored students from 12 years old up to degree level. During my degree, I took a module in Spanish and having spent a couple of months in South America this summer, I have advanced to the C1 level.

I studied the IB at St Edward's School, Oxford, finishing my exams in May of 2014. I achieved a score of 45 points with the subjects HL French, English, History, Theatre Studies, and SL Maths and Biology. I have an expert and up to date knowledge of the IB and university applications. I applied and succeeded in getting offers from both LSE and Oxford University for Master's Programmes. However, I chose to pursue an employment opportunity instead and hope to return to further studies at a later date.

I also have four-years of experience working with students, both for Oxford International Education Group and Dusemond Study Programmes. I was a University History Tutor in my second and third year at UCL, taking both individual and group classes.

Outside of my professional and academic interests, I have a passion for theatre, yoga and running. I am also interested in politics and languages.
