About Marilyn
Sitting in a lecture hall at University College Dublin, I realized that many people struggle with mathematics because they are told to memorize steps instead of grasping logic. I started tutoring peers shortly after, finding that breaking down calculus or trigonometry into smaller parts made concepts click instantly.
My 5 years of experience have solidified this methodical approach. Working as a professional developer for 6 years taught me that MATH IS A LANGUAGE. I use this perspective to help students with competition prep and homework. Seeing a student finally understand a complex proof is the most satisfying part of this job.
