About Kendall
My name is Kendall, I am 22 years old and I graduated last May with a Bachelor's degree in middle years education. I am working as a substitute teacher in my hometown of Regina, SK, Canada while also tutoring students in person outside of school hours. When I am not at school, you can find me at the gym lifting weights, doing yoga, reading a book, or looking at one of my three-sized screens! I am very technologically literate and enjoy most subject areas.

I like to spend time getting to know each of my students so I can understand their preferred learning methods as well as their interests and abilities. Using various methods of formative assessment allows me to gather evidence of student learning and create well-suited lessons within sessions.
Each day I tutor is different as each student I work with is unique. I am also a substitute teacher so I love the challenge of tackling new curricular ideas and not knowing what I will be discussing or potentially introducing to kids on any given day.
When I tutor kids, I want them to want to be there to better their own education and understanding. That means I try my absolute hardest to find and produce content and activities that are engaging and specific for each unique pupil.
I currently create lessons specifically for grade 2 ELA, grade 3-4 Math, grade 6-7 Math and grade 7, 9 ELA.
I have flexible availability and a unique ability to connect with students to find ways that target learning inbalances. Look forward to meeting your learner!
