I'm a full-ride scholar at the University of British Columbia, specializing in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Political Science. My tutoring approach is student-centered, interactive, and results-driven. I believe that confidence and clarity are the foundations of language mastery. Whether preparing for IELTS or TOEFL or simply aiming to improve English fluency, I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, level, and learning style.
A typical session begins with a quick warm-up—this could be a speaking prompt, vocabulary recall, or a short reading passage. We then move into targeted practice based on the student's needs: this might include mock speaking tests, reading comprehension strategies, or time-bound writing exercises with real exam prompts. Every session ends with brief feedback and a takeaway tip or task to build consistency outside class.
What sets me apart is my ability to make lessons feel less like test prep and more like skill-building. I blend academic structure with engaging discussions, real-world examples, and encouragement. I’ve worked with students from beginner to advanced levels and specialize in helping international students, high school graduates, and university applicants sharpen their English for academic and professional success.
