About Autumn

I’m Autumn, a passionate educator, innovator, and advocate for the transformative power of education. As a mother and special education teacher, I’ve witnessed firsthand how trauma and mental health challenges can deeply impact one's development. This experience sparked my commitment to creating a supportive and empowering learning environment for all students. I developed Learning in Flow, a program that focuses on building executive functioning and social-emotional skills. With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, I designed the program to help students gain stability, confidence, and the tools they need to succeed academically and personally. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students in mental health facilities, public schools, and various learning environments, helping them discover their strengths and become resilient, self-regulated learners. I’m dedicated to fostering mindfulness in children and adults and ensuring they have the support they need to thrive in all areas of life. My approach, which combines mindfulness, executive functioning, and a growth-centered curriculum, has made Learning in Flow a recognized and impactful program. I’m excited to help you unlock your potential and begin your journey of growth and success.

About the lesson

Through Learning in Flow, learners will:

Experience the Value of Diversity: Understand and appreciate the richness of different cultures, backgrounds, and abilities, fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Realize Their Potential: Gain the confidence and tools to discover and harness their unique strengths and abilities.

Master Executive Functioning Skills: Learn to plan, organize, prioritize, and regulate their behaviors, which are essential for academic and life success.

Experience Learner-Centered Practices: Participate in lessons and activities designed to meet their individual needs, preferences, and learning styles, ensuring a more personalized experience.

Set, Plan, Achieve, and Evaluate SMART Goals: Gain in-depth knowledge on setting clear, specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals, while learning how to track and assess progress.
