About Katherine
I have been tutoring since middle school. In high school I set up a tutoring program called Peer to Peer tutoring. That way another student is tutoring the student who is struggling in that particular subject. I found that the Peer to Peer was very successful, and the student having problems with their school work was not nearly as intimidating as an adult/teacher.
During college and after college, I also tutored as a side job. I have been tutoring in Math, Language Arts, and helping students study for tests, quizzes, end of year testing, ass well as standardized testing.

To start, I figure out what concept in the area of math you are struggling with and focus on those concepts in order to understand the whole math lesson
My teaching method is to do a sample problem and then let the student try the problem. I also source practice problems so the student can practice the concept and master the concept they are struggling with
The lessons are for any middle or high school student struggling in Math, Language Arts, and/or needs help studying
