About Khalid

My name is Khalid and I am a tutor with six years of experience. I am currently a medical student and a graduate of UC Berkeley. I love teaching and helping students grasp topics they are struggling with. I have helped many students with a wide variety of subjects, from high school to college. I have helped students prepare for their AP exams and the SATs. I have also helped students with challenging college classes like biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I have helped students prepare for the MCAT, and several of my students have reached their goal score. I am passionate about helping students learn and achieve their goals. About the lesson

One of my greatest joys is to teach. That is why I have continued to tutor as I went through college and as I go through medical school. A quality I pride myself on is being adaptable. I have helped students at all grade levels and with varying learning modalities. When I find that one method is not working with a student, I try different methods until we find the right method for you. Even though I can lecture for hours on an end about any of the topics I'm passionate about, I recognize that this may be ineffectual for many students. As such, I keep students engaged by using whiteboards to draw out diagrams, figures, or solve problems in real time with students. I will provide applications questions, create quizzes, share videos, and even use practical demonstrations in class if appropriate.
