About Emma
Hi! I’m a Year 10 student currently studying at Brigidine College, St Ives. I have a strong passion for a wide range of subjects including History, Math, and Science, and I’m actively involved in extracurriculars such as Drama and Soccer. I am commencing years 11 and 12 I plan on taking: English adv, Math adv, Ancient History, Drama, Modern History, Active Volunteering and Studies of Religion. Through Drama, I’ve often had to memorise lines and monologues with minimal time, which has helped me develop study techniques that reduce stress and improve exam performance, as school requires a lot of memorisation. I take a hardworking and proactive approach to my schoolwork, consistently going beyond expectations and excelling across diverse subjects.
I frequently help my friends with their studies and would love to extend this passion for learning by tutoring others. I’m available for both regular and one-off sessions, and I aim to explain why things work , not just what the facts are. I’ve found that understanding the “why” makes learning more meaningful and effective.
