About Jatin

Hi I am Jatin Patel and I am currently studying at Reading university. I am currently studying a bachelors degree in accounting and management. I am very hardworking, passionate and relentless. I love to help others and help them reach their goals and their maximum potential. I also do like to enjoy my time playing sports such as cricket, football and even badminton.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered and adaptable to individual learning styles. I begin by understanding the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences through an initial assessment. I emphasize interactive and collaborative learning, incorporating various techniques such as:

-Active Discussions- This is fostering engagement through open dialogues, encouraging students to express their thoughts and ask questions.

-Real-world Applications: Relating theoretical concepts to practical, real-world scenarios to enhance understanding.

-Visual Aids and Multimedia: Using visual aids, diagrams, and multimedia resources to reinforce concepts.

-Problem-solving Exercises: Providing hands-on problem-solving exercises to apply theoretical knowledge.

-Customized Lesson Plans: Developing personalized lesson plans targeting specific learning objectives and adapting as needed.

I believe in maintaining a balance between depth and brevity. A typical lesson spans 60 minutes, allowing sufficient time for concept introduction, interactive discussions, and practical exercises. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length based on the student's needs and preferences.

Furthermore, I hold a btec extended diploma in business and finance from college, providing a strong academic foundation. Additionally, I have 2 years of tutoring experience, both independently and within academic institutions. My practical experience includes tutoring primary school children with their 11+, which proved to be a success as all my students tutored passed their exams.

I continually enhance my teaching skills through professional development opportunities, staying updated on the latest educational methodologies and technologies.

My lessons are tailored for students at various levels, including high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. I specialize in Maths, ensuring that I can effectively cater to the specific needs of students studying within this field. Additionally, I am comfortable working with students of different age groups, adapting my teaching style to align with their developmental stages and educational requirements.
