About Justine Mei
I am a 20 year old university student who likes to share and teach. I think it is important to help when you can, and so I would like to tutor people, since I know I have great French speaking, writing and reading abilities. I also think the flexibility of tutoring is an advantage for both the teacher and the student, and I also believe that respect is the base of the relationship between both individuals.

I do homework with students, and I do lessons on French grammar and writing. The periods of tutoring are around 1 hour, but they can last longer if desired.
The lessons cover subjects that will be chosen by the student (what they wish to work on) and by me, who shall observe over time what needs to be improved. I also like to have the student write a small text at the first period of tutoring in order to assess the strengths and weaknesses in their writing.
A typical lesson usually starts with a review of the theory, followed by some exercices. The end of the lesson can be used for doing homework, or for working on a cheat sheet for class.
The lessons are mainly for students from high school to Cégep, but I can work with younger students from elementary as long as they already understand the bases (I would do mostly homework with the younger ones).
I have experience in tutoring two students (aged 17 and more) for a whole semester in order to prepare them for a French class of Cégep level. I had the chance to do the tutoring, because my previous teachers deemed me great in French, good to teach lessons. I taught those lessons in French, but I can teach in English as well as I am bilingual.
