About Lucy
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a MA (with honours) in Theology and Philosophy. While at university, I also studied English literature, and linguistics. I received marks of up to 80% in my essays as an undergraduate.
Since completing my degree, I have tutored a variety of students, from secondary-school age to masters level.

In lessons, we focus on: making a plan for your writing; learning how to structure an essay so it's argument flows clearly; using grammar and language to express yourself accurately; discovering your own voice as a writer; understanding what is required of your work by mark schemes or syllabuses.
