About Suffyan
I achieved grade 9s in Chemistry, Physics, English, History, Geography, and RE at GCSE, and a grade 8 in Maths and Biology. Whilst I was in school, most of the work was done on my own. I offer tutoring primarily for GCSE students in sciences, with lessons typically lasting one hour. Please enquire if you require tutoring for a humanities-based subject as this is much more specific due to the course actually studied by the student. My approach is patient and structured — I focus on breaking down difficult concepts and exam technique to help students feel confident. Having recently completed my GCSEs, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for. First lesson will be done for free.

I'm a sixth form student at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, Sutton Coldfield, with a genuine passion for science and humanities. Outside of studying, I'm into philosophy, cricket, and rugby, which keeps me grounded and easy to talk to. I know what it's like to find certain topics/subjects overwhelming — I've been through it myself recently with GCSE and increasingly so for A-Levels — which is why I focus on making sessions relaxed and building real understanding rather than just memorising answers. I get on well with younger students and pride myself on being patient and approachable.
