About Julia

I aim to encourage my students with a friendly approach and a motivating outlook to English. I achieved A*/A consistently in English Literature and Language, therefore having capability to push students to a greater level of understanding. In my educational experience, I was surrounded by my peers who struggled with concepts in English, and now hope to break down this barrier.

About the lesson

I offer an easy-to-understand approach for English in KS2/3, focusing on basics like creative writing and comprehension. For KS4, I am able to tutor AQA Power and Conflict poetry, Macbeth, Blood Brothers, A Christmas Carol to give the best chance at excelling in English. My lessons are based on interaction and a question-answer format, often using a whiteboard format. I hope to see you soon!

Helped me pass my gcses! Shes very well explaining when it comes to history & maths (the two i struggled with) and became my tutor for 3 months beforehand and she was wonderful! would reccomend to anybody whos struggling as shes very polite , patient and very supportive when youre not sure.
