About Julia

I consistently achieved A*s/As in GCSE and A-Level. However, I had to put in the hard work for the learning curve from GCSE to A-Level to continue to achieve well. This meant that I researched examiner reports and mark schemes to be able to get the best marks available, and hope to pass on this knowledge to students prepared to learn. I am a patient and motivating tutor who hopes that all tutees will excel in History.

About the lesson

In 1 hour long sessions, we will cover key concepts, content, and importantly exam structure and techniques to get the best possible results in assessments. This will be achieved through a question-answer format, and making use of a digital whiteboard for interaction. Homework for practising exam-style timed essays will also be curated and encouraged. I am able to tutor for the AQA board. For GCSE, I tutor Conflict and Tension: inter-war years, and Germany: Democracy and Dictatorship. For A-Level, I tutor Democracy and Nazism and The Tudors 1485-1603

Helped me pass my gcses! Shes very well explaining when it comes to history & maths (the two i struggled with) and became my tutor for 3 months beforehand and she was wonderful! would reccomend to anybody whos struggling as shes very polite , patient and very supportive when youre not sure.
