About Ismahaan
I have tutored a year 7 student for a year as part of a mentorship volunteering programme at Parmiter's school and am an A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics student after achieving a Grade 9 in maths so am not only qualified but I am passionate about Mathematics.

I teach by working through methods with a student and emphasise understanding how to approach a question rather than completing a lot of questions initially and offer visual repesentations of questions if appropiate.
I begin by working through a range of KS3 ,year 7 questions to identify problem areas with the student and then go from there and use regular reviews to update.
Length of lesson and lesson structure- The full lesson is 1 hour with 30 minutes of learning how to tackle a question and 30 minutes of the Year 7 student trying questions on their own with immediate feedback.
My lessons are for Year 7 students who struggle in maths.
The lessons are online via Zoom or Google meet.
