About Iman
I have 12 years experience on the violin, 4 on the viola and I love both instruments. I genuinely enjoy, enjoying and creating music and the theory behind it. I am an incredibly patient and empathetic person, who has previously taught students with zero music theory experience. I have a deep love for music that I'd like to share. (can teach adults too, of course!)

- I utilise the piano, if your child can play it, or any other instrument as I believe practical work is the best approach for music theory
- It transforms it from something boring and tedious to something that unlocks the key to really understanding music
- I am patient and empathetic, able to work with neurodivergent children (and can relate to them), and have 5 years tutoring experience
- I personally managed to pass the ABRSM music theory exam with no difficulties after only 3 days of tutoring
- I have 12 years violin experience (Grade 8), am Grade 5 piano and Grade 6 singing so I am no stranger to learning new instruments, and to melody and harmony
- I can also teach violin, which is the instrument my previous student achieved a music scholarship from UCS on, and have a profound love for the instrument that I want to share
- I will provide my students with Quizlets or on paper take-home resources for practice
